DUE TO THE RECOMMENDATION OF OUR CITY AND STATE OFFICIALS, WE HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE OUR SERVICES TO AN ONLINE ENGAGEMENT.

THE FAMILY CHURCH CORONA VIRUS STANCE

Greetings to our church family, partners & guests,

Pastor Dawn and I are writing to inform you about the precautions we are taking regarding the pandemic, Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID 2019).  Here at The Family Church, it is our main concern to ensure your well- being while attending our Wednesday and Sunday services.

What We at The Family Church Are Doing

  • We have hand sanitizer at the main sanctuary door as you enter & exit as well as at the Welcome Center.

  • Canceling Children’s Church of all ages, life groups (some may meet via zoom) and café cooked food services

  • We are wiping down all handles and doorknobs with disinfectant wipes before and during each service.

  • We have limited non-essential meetings in our building during the week.

  • We will adopt a new way of greeting by fist & elbow bumping and “air” high- fives.

What You Can Do

  • Wash your hands vigorously and often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.

  • Regularly use a disinfectant wipe on your mobile phone.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or by using the inside of your elbow.

  • Discontinue hugging, handshakes and other types of personal contact during this time..

  • Stay home if you are sick.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Reduce your stress levels by meditating on God’s promises.

Isaiah 8:12-17 New International Version (NLT)

11 The Lord has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said, 12 “Don’t call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don’t live in dread of what frightens them.13 Make the Lord of Heaven’s Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear. He is the one who should make you tremble.14 He will keep you safe. But to Israel and Judah he will be a stone that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.15 Many will stumble and fall, never to rise again. They will be snared and captured.” 16 Preserve the teaching of God; entrust his instructions to those who follow me 17 I will wait for the Lord, who has turned away from the descendants of Jacob. I will put my hope in him.

As of today, there are no known cases of Coronavirus reported by anyone attending or affiliated with The Family Church. However, global experience is showing that social distancing is one of the best protections against the virus, which has the potential to spread rapidly in communities.
