SALVATION & MEMBERSHIP
Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. We consider reaching people one of our greatest responsibilities. Our weekend service serves people at all stages in their spiritual journey, but are primarily geared toward the lost and unchurched, and producing followers of Christ who will become a catalyst for change.
God never intended for us to go through life alone. Throughout the Bible, we see the importance of being in community. In fact, authentic life-change happens in the context of relationships. At The Family Church we believe our church must grow LARGER and SMALLER at the same time.
"Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another.”
Hebrews 10:25 (GN)
